These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Raknor’s website, certification services, tools, and related products. By accessing or using any Raknor service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Last updated: March 2026.
By accessing raknor.ai, submitting an agent system for certification, using AEGIS, or engaging with any Raknor service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Raknor services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.
Raknor provides AI agent governance certification through adversarial testing against the Raknor Agent Governance Standard. Our services include:
Raknor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
Certifications are time-bound. Each certification is valid for a declared period. Expiration does not imply failure; it means the certification must be renewed to remain active.
Certifications are revocable. Raknor may revoke a certification if evidence emerges that the certified system no longer meets the Raknor Standard, if governance regression is detected through continuous monitoring, or if the certification was obtained through misrepresentation.
Certifications represent governance state at time of evaluation. A certification decision reflects the observed behavior and governance posture of your agent system during the evaluation period. It does not guarantee future behavior. Agent systems change, models update, and governance may drift.
Certification is not regulatory approval. Raknor certification is an independent, third-party assessment of governance posture against a published standard. It is not a substitute for regulatory approval, legal compliance determination, or government authorization. See Section 8 for full disclaimers.
The Raknor Agent Governance Standard is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). You may read, use, adapt, and build against the standard, provided you give appropriate attribution.
Certification marks and badges — including the Raknor certification badge, the Raknor name, the Raknor logo, and all associated visual marks — are trademarks of Raknor. These marks may not be used without an active, valid Raknor certification. See Section 5 for badge usage terms.
Certification methodology. The Arena’s testing methodology, scenario library, scoring algorithms, and evaluation infrastructure are proprietary to Raknor. The standard is open. The testing process is proprietary.
AEGIS. The AEGIS tool and its components are the intellectual property of Raknor. Usage is governed by the AEGIS license terms provided with the tool.
Your content. You retain all rights to your agent systems, source code, and proprietary technology. Raknor does not claim any ownership over your intellectual property. Submitting a system for certification does not transfer any rights to Raknor.
Display requirements. Certified entities may display the Raknor certification badge only while the certification is in ACTIVE status. The badge must link to or reference the verifiable certification record in the Raknor registry.
Accuracy. Any public representation of Raknor certification status must be accurate and current. You must not:
Revocation for misrepresentation. Misrepresentation of certification status — including displaying a badge after certification has expired or been revoked, or claiming a certification level that was not earned — is grounds for immediate revocation of any active certifications and may result in permanent disqualification from future certification.
Removal obligation. Upon expiration or revocation of a certification, you must remove all Raknor badges and certification marks from your materials within 30 days.
Our collection, use, and protection of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Key points relevant to these Terms:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Raknor provides its services “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the suitability, reliability, availability, or accuracy of our services.
Certification does not guarantee system safety. Raknor certification attests that an agent system’s governance met published criteria at the time of evaluation. It does not guarantee that the system will not fail, cause harm, or produce unintended consequences. Certification addresses governance posture, not system correctness.
Raknor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to:
In no event shall Raknor’s total liability exceed the amount you paid to Raknor for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the claim.
Raknor certification is an independent assessment of AI agent governance posture against the published Raknor Agent Governance Standard. It is important to understand what certification does not constitute:
Raknor certification provides structured, verifiable evidence of governance posture. How that evidence is used in regulatory, procurement, or compliance contexts is the responsibility of the parties relying on it.
Raknor reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the email address associated with your account, if applicable.
Continued use of Raknor services after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of our services.
Changes to these Terms do not retroactively affect certification decisions already issued.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Raknor services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
